Flying legally in Thailand
Thailand has its own drone laws, and they apply to visiting operators too. We sort the paperwork before we travel.
Drone registration
Camera drones must be registered with Thailand's aviation and telecoms authorities (CAAT and NBTC) before they fly. We register our equipment and carry the required insurance.
National parks & protected areas
Flying in national parks and marine parks, such as Ang Thong, needs permission from the park authorities. We apply in advance and follow the rules on the day.

How much does drone photography cost in Thailand?

Is it legal to fly a drone in Thailand?
Yes, when the rules are followed. Camera drones must be registered with Thailand's Civil Aviation Authority (CAAT) and the NBTC, and operators need insurance. Rules can change, so we check the current requirements and complete the registration before every trip.
