SkyHi drone photography starts from £550 for a half day (up to 4 hours) and £950 for a full day (up to 8 hours). Multi-day shoots, FPV productions and TV work are priced around your brief. Video editing, travel outside Yorkshire and shoots that need special airspace permission are quoted separately, and every job is confirmed in a free, no-obligation quote.

FPV stands for first-person view. The pilot flies a small, agile drone through live video goggles, as if sitting in the cockpit. That makes it possible to fly through doorways, along bars, over crowds and between buildings in one continuous, cinematic shot, which is why FPV is so popular for venue tours, property films, events and brand content.

A standard camera drone is GPS-stabilised and ideal for smooth, high-altitude photography and sweeping aerial video. An FPV drone is flown manually, so it can move faster, get much closer to the subject and fly indoors, creating immersive, dynamic footage. We use both, and often combine them on the same project.

Yes. SkyHi is a fully licensed, CAA-approved drone operator with more than 4 years of commercial flying experience. We're fully insured for commercial work and every flight follows UK drone law.

It depends on the location. Flights near airports need permission when they fall inside a flight restriction zone, busy urban areas need extra planning around people and buildings, and taking off from private land needs the landowner's agreement. We check the airspace and rules for every job and handle the permissions for you.

Yes. FPV drones are designed for indoor flying, so they're perfect for bars, restaurants, hotels, showrooms, warehouses and event spaces. We normally film before opening or at a quiet time, and every indoor flight is planned and risk-assessed just like an outdoor one.

You receive high-resolution aerial photographs and 4K drone video, ready to use on your website, social media, listings, presentations or in print. We agree the exact deliverables, formats and edits before the shoot.

Drones can't fly safely in strong wind or heavy rain, so we watch the forecast in the days before your shoot. If conditions aren't safe, or won't give you the images you want, we'll agree a new date together.

Yes. SkyHi is based in Leeds and covers the whole of Yorkshire, works right across the UK and travels internationally for the right project. For shoots abroad we check the local drone laws and permits before travelling, and travel costs are included in your quote.
