Flying an FPV drone through one of Thailand's most breathtaking landscapes is an experience like no other.
Ang Thong National Marine Park is a stunning archipelago of 42 islands, where towering limestone cliffs, lush green peaks and crystal-clear waters create a paradise best seen from the air. There simply wasn't a better place to put the new DJI Avata 2 through its paces.
With full permission from the park's chief ranger, we captured the scenery on the DJI Avata 2. The agile FPV drone let us weave between dramatic rock formations, glide over untouched beaches and soar above the emerald lagoons.
Respect for the park and the people enjoying it always comes first. Every flight was carefully planned to avoid nesting areas, marine life and busy tourist spots, so we could document the park's magic with minimal disturbance and preserve its serenity.
Ang Thong was the perfect setting to push the boundaries of what FPV can do. Low, fast and fluid, the footage turns a landscape into a journey, the kind of immersive storytelling that travel documentaries, adventure films and tourism marketing are made of.

Ang Thong National Marine Park is an archipelago of 42 islands in the Gulf of Thailand, north-west of Koh Samui. It's known for its limestone cliffs, jungle-covered peaks, white-sand beaches and emerald lagoons, which make it one of the most striking places in Thailand to see from the air.
